Welcome to the European Vaccination Group UKOur Scandinavian HeritageWe are the UK arm of the European Vaccination Group. Founded in 1998 in Denmark as the Danish Laegers (Doctors) Vaccination Service, DLVS has delivered more than 1.2 million vaccines. DLVS has grown steadily to become Denmarkâs biggest vaccination service working with over 250 doctors and nurses. Influenza vaccination is its largest activity, but the company also offers an advice and vaccination service for travellers. ResearchDLVS has established its own clinically led research section, working with the manufacturers of the flu vaccine to ensure that flu vaccination programmes as successful as possible. Public HealthDLVS activity in the area of influenza vaccination makes a significant contribution to public health in Denmark. DLVS supports the important message that flu is an illness for vulnerable people, and vaccination is a safe and effective solution. Each year, DLVS hosts an International Seminar on Influenza, which will explore how countries across Europe can increase vaccination rates and prevent the of influenza which sadly and avoidably kill thousands of people every year. UK ServiceIn 2007, following the success of DLVS, the European Vaccination Group extended its services to the UK. Through our Flu Fighters campaign we are offering private and public sector organisations an on site vaccination service so that they can help to keep their staff free from seasonal flu.
